The Little Princess
Castle Rock Players is proud to announce the inaugural production at the newest venue for theater in Douglas County.
This intimate theater space will enable the audience to feel they are in 1920's England with sweet Sara Crewe, the "Little Princes". Sara's widowed father sends her to a boarding school while he serves in the English Army. When he is reported killed, the cold-hearted head-mistress turns Sara into a servant in exchange for room and board, banishing her to the attic. But the friendships Sara creates will keep her spirits high as well as her hopes that her father is still alive. This production is directed by Meg Truhler, based on a novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett and sponsored in part by Castle Rock Rotary. Seating to each show is limited, so please purchase your tickets early.
